The first recipient of Gloria’s Gift–the program I launched to honor my friend Gay Hippler who died April 5 of this year–is fittingly, her husband, Jim Hippler. His children and family have the comfort of knowing Jim’s end-of-life wishes and who is designated to make decisions for him if he can’t.
