Thanks Sue Murray for alerting me to a resource–particularly since it’s free! The Grace-Filled Divorce by Melody Bacon, Ph.D., can be downloaded free to your Kindle device or app at http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=grace-filled+divorce.

I haven’t read it yet but a cursory review is encouraging. My Christian clients especially struggle with reconciling faith and commitment with the idea of divorce. The stated premise of the book is that “suffering is a means by which God can use us to become Christ to a hurting world. This is as true of divorce as it is of other experiences of loss…yet grief in divorce has not been given adequate recognition.”

If it appeals to you, download it and let me know whether you found it helpful. I’m always on the lookout for good client resources and maintain a client lending library. So let me know if this book deserves a place on that shelf!

Wishing you wisdom,
